The Engles thank you for stopping by and are pleased to share with you a few of the events that our family has been privileged to do this passed year. We are enjoying our family as they grow and teach us new ways to look at and understand things.
Nancy has been busy with family, teaching, writing for grants and then winning some. We are proud of the 3 articles she had published in a new large two volume encyclopedia set of women in the Civil War; and last but not least, directing a very large production of “Journey to Bethlehem” for Spokane by the South Hill Church. Amber continues to be a very outgoing little girl who loves people and going to school. This summer she showed us her amazing talent at sewing during a two week sewing camp. She made pillow cases, book bags, pajamas, skirts and a very nice dress for herself. Zach loves his big sister, has a special friend in mommy, and enjoys working with daddy on projects. This year he has discovered the freedom of walking to places by himself and the power words have in communicating his plans and ideas to other people. Daniel enjoys the great opportunities that he is being afforded with his family and at work. Both present interesting challenges and are growing very fast.
We have posted a short list of events we have done this year and then included some pictures to help you visualize them. We invite you to read it and in this way sharing in our family’s past year.
We want to thank all of our friends that sent us cards, pictures, and letters for Christmas. It is just so much fun to read and see how you are doing even though we cannot see and visit with you as we would like to do. The time you took to remember us is something we treasure.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you this year. Please call us and stop in and see us if you are in Spokane this year.
With much love,
Your Friends the Engles.
